The Orbital Bamboo Project

The Orbital Bamboo Project has developed into a project utilzing high energy composite rocket fuels as a propellant in bamboo rocket casings.  As the first known rocket housing bamboo may have everything required of modern rocket casings...or maybe not but the Orbital Bamboo Project is an honest attempt to find out. The most recent designs include multi-stage bamboo that seperate at the natural bamboo segments and the use of multiple stalks to improve stability.  Some project low-lites (which are much more interesting than the current highlights) can be found on the video tab.
